A major release for NetApp posted to the NOW site today, OnTap 7.3. This is a major performance release for NetApp as it starts to take advantage of the powerful 64-bit cores that NetApp has in their lineup of products. I had some fun at work today and created a 100TB volume for a project. NetApp’s OnTap GX operating system is quite nice and I can’t wait for the release that combines 7G and GX together. Here’s some fun screenshots.
