I’m really never good at the “about me” type pages. I can tell you a few things, I’m married, live in Long Beach, CA, and work for CBS as a Technical Engineer (I work with the servers, yes, another computer guy).
I’ve been into computers ever since I was a small child and my career has blossomed as I graduated college and went to work for CBS. Since joining CBS in 2005 I’ve advanced from consultant, to Image Creation / Desktop Standards, to Technical Engineer, to Sr. Technical Engineer. I have had some exciting projects such as the corporate implementation of SMS (Systems Management Server) and get to play with some cool hardware (NetApp, Brocade, 3PAR, etc).
I’ve found myself quite consumed with work so I have little time for hobbies. When I do find myself venturing out I do things like modify electronics so they work better for me (ex: lowering the temp on my kegerator by way of resistor), home improvement (ex: renovating my wife’s grandpa’s bathroom, building my home bar, etc), and hanging out with long time friends. Oh, and I have this site.
I find I’m not too huge of a gamer, however I do like my occasional shoot-em-up game of Halo 3 or Gears of War. I am definitely not into long winded games like WoW. I do watch movies though. Movies have got to be the greatest thing on earth. Also, I’m in to various Showtime series that are available at the moment (Californication, BrotherHood, etc).
